As I've been thinking about the past year, all I can think of is CHANGE. Actually, the last two years have been full of change for our family. In the years of 2009 and 2010 we have:
1. Added 2 children to our family
2. Jason was Branch President
3. Jason donated his kidney to his brother (three weeks after Layla was born)
4. Jason started traveling with his NWEA job
5. I quit my job and started staying home with the kidlets
6. Jason changed jobs
7. We've moved
8. We paid off our van yipeeee!
9. I feel like there are more, but that will do for now
I know everyone's lives are crazy, and as I reflect on our family's past I am indeed grateful for all the changes. Big changes can bring big blessings, and that has truly been the case for our family. Now, what will 2011 bring?? I can only guess, but I hope it has as many blessings as the past two years.

Peer Pressure
Well, I've decided to give into the peer pressure and start a family blog. 'Resistance is futile'. My resistance stems from my uncertanty in whether or not I have anything to offer that is beyond the hum drum. Who would want to read about my daily activities and cliche moments in family history? I finally realized that my blog does not have to be for anyone else but my family, a record, a journal. With that lens, I am starting my blog and will be using it as a family journal. The audience for my blog is myself, my kids, and my husband. If others want to spy in on our family life, so be it. Hopefully, I can capture the big events in our lives, of course, but also what I might determine at the time to be hum drum. One never knows what might be interesting as we reflect and look back on the Tadlock family experience.
